Self improvement

So far I am doing well with my diet. 1,700 cals per day, eating mostly healthy raw food. I'm always looking for more healthy superfood to improve my health. I LOVE the Acai juice that we got from Costo. I also saw David Wolf on youtube discuss other superfoods like Maca, Marine Phytoplankton, and Goji berries. I'm still wondering where to get those, but I'll find out. Also, I've lost 9 lbs since november 1st and I've been working out at anytime fitness. I love that place. I put up 175 lbs three times on the bench, which is good progress. I hope to soon pass the 205 lbs mark that I maxed out in highschool. Health is good.

next year's softball

a few different senarios

Nathan Klement SS Chris Halbleib 1B
Chris Halbleib 1B Nathan Klement 2B
Nathan Steele 2B Eric Litke SS
Tom Roeske 3B Tom Roeske 3B
Kevin Sand P John Bonde LF
John Bonde LF Eric Engstrom LC
Eric Engstrom LC Al Schmucker RC
Al Schmucker RC Dakota Witte RF
Dakota Witte RF Kevin Sand P
Craig "Dino" C Nathan Steele C
Andrew K. AH Andrew K. AH

The second order would be a much stronger team and it would involve dropping Craig for Eric Litke in the starting line-up. I'd be sad not to play 2B, but if we can get Eric, it's worth it. Additional players would be Andrew Klement and Craig.

This is a tough thing, dropping people from your team to add new ones. I hope no one takes it personally. Here's what I have in mind for next year.

Nathan Steele
Kevin Sand
Andrew K.
Dakota Witte

maybe list
Bill Jennaro

Note: this list will probably change frequently throughout the course of the next 9 months.

Softball

Holy crap, am I sucking at softball on Mondays. It's weird. I'm ok on defense and crappy at batting on monday, but then on thursday I suck at defense, but atleast I can hit the ball. Weird. I'm batting .346 monday v.s. my .500 for thursdays. Well, my goal was .600, but that's not gonna happen. There's always next year.

Weight loss

I am currently on a new diet called "Don't eat so frickin much ya fat moron". It's really simple. I limit myself to 1700 calories a day and I've been losing weight like a mofo. I figured out that I'm losing .625 lbs per day with a total loss so far of 13 lbs in a couple weeks. At this rate I will reach my goal of 175 lbs by the end of June, (Just in time for the disc golf trip), however I'm giving myself a goal of 175 by my birthday in september. This is extremely reasonable since I'm losing weight so fast. Now, I know they say it's bad to lose weight faster than 2 lbs per week, but screw them. If I don't see fast results I lose confidence and forget what it is that I'm doing. I have a short attention span. So once I reach 175 I will increase my caloric intake to somewhere around 2,600 per day or whatever it takes to maintain that low weight. Note: I have not been lighter than 200 lbs since highschool. I have tried two other massive diets which have resulted in great stress and I forgot exactly what I did to lose the weight. This diet is simple and easy to remember. No more that 1700 cals per day PERIOD.
